AT CAMP, I CAN HAVE THE “BEST SUMMER EVER”
Ocean County YMCA Summer Camps are all about discovery and adventure. At camp, kids have the opportunity to explore nature, try new activities and games, meet new friends and form lasting friendships and memories. From swimming and sports activities, to arts and crafts, music and more, our camp days are filled with fun and engaging experiences that encourage self confidence, leadership and team work.
Highly trained and qualified Role Model Staff are dedicated to enduring a safe and caring environment for your children, while instilling the Y core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility, in each game, activity and interaction.
Camp is divided into weekly sessions to better serve and meet your needs. We are based out of North Dover Elementary School, while utilizing the Y for swimming, sports and games, along with local trips and outings. Camp hours are from 8:30AM to 4:00PM, Monday through Friday, with extended care hours available from 6:30AM until 8:30 AM and from 4:00 PM until 6:00PM, at an additional fee (Elementary School Age and older, See below for preschool hours and location). We offer three, four and five day a week options. Swim lessons are provided two times a week, with recreational swim daily. Campers need a bagged lunch, water, snacks, swim suit and towel every day. Sneakers and or appropriate foot wear is required. Medication is dispensed according to the N. J. Health Department Standards. Paperwork for medication must be filled out at the start of your campers week.
Registration and schedule changes must be completed by the Wednesday prior to start of the camp week. Any registrations after Wednesday will incur a $20 fee. All registration must be done in person at the YMCA and is ongoing. All paperwork must be completed in its entirety before your child can be registered. This includes any and all health requirements from the State of New Jersey. Participants must be members of the YMCA.
All camp balances must be paid in full TWO WEEKS prior to the week you plan to start camp. No exceptions.
