Special Needs Recreation Swim
From different Ocean County communities, we witness children and adults coming together twice weekly for our Y Special Needs Recreation Swim. They experience fun and build friendships with others in the community that have challenges similar to their own. They look forward to coming to the Y each week to see their friends and enjoy the therapeutic water of our six lane pool. This program is free to residents in need within Ocean County. Children and Adults with special needs enjoy pool time with extra staff and volunteer assistance. Interested participants or their caretakers must first call Ginny McClain 732 341 9622 ext 2216 to schedule an appointment to be evaluated for this program.
